He often shows off his quick wit, teasing people just to get a reaction. He's forward in a sense, happy to speak what's on his mind. He's not afraid to make the first move, and he's not afraid to defend his opinion. He likes theatre and dance, which make him good in terms of voice and flexibility.Magic: Gyrain is a member of Blue Pegasus, his guild mark being on his inner left thigh. He uses wind magic in combination with the wings across his outfit, sending the wind against the wings to drive his physical attacks. His attacks are based on momentum and rooted in dance. In addition to fast physical prowess, Gyrain can also manipulate the air around him in a variety of ways, similar to Erigor, but with his own flair.Backstory:Despite his gothic appearance, Gyrain is a bright and bubbly Wind Mage. A lover of climbing, sitting weirdly if he sits at all, and floating with his magic, he finds himself all around a room in seconds. He's incredibly sociable and energetic, with an attitude to bat. At Blue Pegasus he can be found darting to and from the job listings to gain some quick cash, which he manages to spend in a week. In a word, Gyrain could be described as impulsive. Yet those he meets can’t get enough.Gyrain is a toned, average height man aged 18 years. His hair is silver and longer, fading into a deep blue at the ends. The entire right side of his head is buzzed, leaving the top and left longer and swept to the side. His complexion is on the paler side, and he has a few black piercings in his right ear. He has piercing black eyes and a bright smile. He wears a black mesh shirt with a full sleeve on the right arm and a short sleeve on the left, and paints his nails to match the blue in his hair. On his legs he has black leather pants, a silver belt, and black heeled boots.These heels and belt, however, are unique. From the belt comes down two bat wings on his outer thighs, which have a hoop that goes right above his knee to keep them against his thigh. These “wings” are retractable. The heels are a normal shoe except for the heel itself, which is a bat wing that matches those on his thighs. The “palm” of the wing acts as the bottom of the heel, sharp to the point of cutting, while the fingers stretch out across the bottom of the foot for support. The spines of both sets of wings are silver while the skin between the spines is a deep blue matching his hair.Gyrain is a Wind Magic user, able to manipulate the air around himself to float, lift, cut, and just about anything he can think of. He’s apart of the Blue Pegasus guild for their accepting and dazzling nature. He's nearly mastered Wind Magic, having been trained by Erigor. Essentially Gyrain is able to use air casually and easily, the only thing weakening him being his physical strain. Using the wind he extends the wings along his thighs and through that, as well as his shoes, can propel himself to devastating kicks and acrobatics. By flying and dancing through the air, Gyrain shows the perfect balance of speed and strength.Gyrain doesn't have a tragic backstory, but it's not a perfect one. Before he became a wizard, he was a dancer of all sorts. His performances granted him fame and fortune, and he was known for his incredible acrobatic feats. Seeking to enhance himself, he sought out magic to boost his abilities. A protegé, and rumored lover, of Erigor, Gyrain was taught wind magic in hopes of using it to aid Eisenwald. But he had no intention, purely seeking to use the magic to dance. In his enhanced performances he rarely touched the ground, which brought suspicion, and soon elimination from the scene for “Performance Enhancing.” This was shortly after the fall of Eisenwald.Luckily he had a few friends from the guild. He had nothing else to work with, so he sought to rebuild Eisenwald and take revenge on behalf of Erigor. Really he just wanted something to do. Something fulfilling since his main careers went up in flames.He set up shop in a remote village. He built a dance studio as a front, hiding his new Dark Guild, Cyclone, beneath it. Their endeavors were carefully calculated. They didn't pick up more attention than they wanted until they were ready.He led Natsu and the gang to the village by leaving traces of Erigor's spells across various sites in Fiore. He left just enough clues to connect the destruction and raids to wind magic. Natsu could even smell Erigor on him.When they first arrived at the studio to investigate, Gyrain acted aloof. He had no clue what they were talking about. In fact, he offered to join them on their hunt to find Erigor, leading them right into a trap.After locking them in the guild hall, they managed to escape. They bested Gyrain's goons and came for him and him alone. It was a fierce battle, but of course Fairytail came on top. The wizards saw his prowess, however. They knew power such as his shouldn't rot away in jail. Not yet.After some convincing, Gyrain agreed to reform. With nothing but a unique outfit and Wind Magic under his belt, Gyrain went to the Blue Pegasus guild for money, and gained a family as well. He'd search for his old guild mates and attempt to bring them to the light as well. One day he hopes to surpass Ichiya in Master Bob's eyes.
